Ohio Spiderwort is a clump-forming perennial featuring clusters of dark blue or rose flowers, and arching, grass-like leaves. It will hybridize easily, hence the color variation. It is easily grown in average, dry to moist, well-drained soil in part sun to part shade. Clumps may be divided when they become over-crowded. It grows naturally in prairies, meadows, along roadsides, or thickets.
