Spotted Beebalm has an understated beauty. It sports rosettes of pale yellow-white flower that is spotted with light purple. It is drought-tolerant but extra water in the summer will keep the plants look better and bloom longer. It needs well-draining soils.
'BeeBop' is a compact, early-flowering nativar that features showy blooms and fragrant foliage.
All Monarda species are susceptible to powdery mildew.
