Damianita is a mounding, bushy, evergreen shrub that features golden yellow flowers. It is technically a subshrub (a plant that’s shrubby and woody, but it does not get very big).

Damianita has significant drought tolerance and requires a sharp drainage. It thrives in dry, poor soils. Normally, it survives on rainfall alone. During extended drought it appreciates some supplemental water. It is extremely heat and drought-tolerant. Damianita does not like wet feet, especially in the winter.

Damianita features dark green, aromatic foliage, and when planted en masse it creates a carpet of yellow flowers. It is perfect in decomposed granite walkways, desert or rock gardens and borders, or for erosion control. It can be pruned lightly in the spring to promote denser growth.
