Pine muhly is native to west Texas, New Mexico and Arizona. It looks like a small version of Lindheimer’s muhly (Big muhly).
Pine muhly is drought-tolerant once established and requires sunny location and good drainage. It looks wonderful as an accent or planted en masse.
