Salvia yangii (Russian Sage 'Blue Jean Baby')
$ 14.98
Russian Sage loves the heat, the sun and is drought tolerant once established. In fact, it dislikes wet feet and needs good drainage. If you love lavender but not its fussiness, Russian Sage makes a great replacement. It looks stunning planted in groupings, mixed with other perennials such as Rock Rose, or planted as a specimen. Its silver-green foliage and lavender flowers provide good texture, color, and contrast to many other summer flowering perennials. The leaves are aromatic when brushed or crushed.
'Blue Jean Baby' is a shorter, more compact cultivar that is full and vigorous in the landscape, with upright stems that resist flopping.
