Shiny goldenrod is an upright perennial that produces showy yellow flower clusters in late summer or early fall. The flowers are nectar source for many insects, including bees and butterflies.

Shiny goldenrod does well in pollinator gardens, naturalized areas, pocket prairies and meadows.
